Boarhanger is ideal for roe deer, fallow deer, whitetail deer, wild boar and similar game. Around 40–50 kg it can often be handled by one person, while 80–100 kg is more comfortable when you're two. Wild boars over 100 kg are absolutely possible but naturally require more effort.

Boarhanger is secured by the strap—not the spike. The spike simply holds the unit in place while mounting, leaving only a very small mark.

If you prefer, you can remove the spike completely and use Boarhanger with the strap only.
